Learn How I Became a Pirate, at the Parma Ridge branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library Thursday, July 29, 2010 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Enjoy a hands - on experience with Chef Sherry K! For kids in grades 2-5. Following the theme of the book How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long, join us and learn how to create several delicious treats. Learn about the special gadgets and gizmos top chefs use, and learn the benefits of learning to cook. These include helping the family, learning healthy alternatives, self-esteem and self accomplishment. Featuring our own local expert, Sherry K., Letzelter of Sherry's Classic Cuisines. Start a lifetime healthy habit by becoming a cook. Parents must sign a release for children to participate.
