Event Description:
Interactive, Entertaining and Enlightening are the works that describe this fun informative lecture/performance. Audience members who are young ( or young at heart) will discover a new and innovative art form that awakens the potential and possibilities within us all. Dancing Wheels Company members, comprised of stand up and and sit down(wheelchair) dancers will perform excerpts from some of their favorite family friendly repertory including " Chicken Lips"
Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in this zany dance right from their seats! the topic of arts and access will facilitate a discussion on the elements of accessibility, audio description and sign language and how the abilities of all people shine through the arts. Prior to a question and answer period, audience members will be invited up for a bit of partnering--- they may even get to hop into a wheelchair for some wheelie work.
