The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District presents...Let's Make Slime! Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 2- 3PM at the Parma Ridge branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library. The average Cleveland area kid uses 88 gallons of water each and every day. That's a lot of water Where does it go? All of that water is returned to Lake Erie, but not before it's cleaned up. There's a lot of science involved in cleaning that water before it is returned to our environment so, get ready to experiment with a chemical reaction and let's make slime! Come learn all about Cleveland's urban water cycle, how in the world the water get's clean, and simple steps kids can take to help keep their environment healthy.
