SPEAKER: Angela Peterek from Rocky River Library

Angela’s Bio follows: She has a BS, Secondary Education – Business Education, University of Akron
- Over 25 years of teaching experience including secondary education, local colleges, corporate business, and non-profit institutions.
- Spent over 11 years in a corporate environment climbing the corporate ladder to an executive-level position. Responsible for Internet services in four states.
- Currently, manage both the public computer training program and staff development for the Rocky River Public Library. (Was able to merge two things I love to do – teaching and technology)
- In addition to managing:
- Speaker for the national Computers In Libraries conference in 2011 on using Virtual Worlds for Learning.
- Member of the Continuing Education Advisory Committee for the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System.
- Member of the American Society for Training and Development.
- Member of the American Library Association
Come and learn all the apps that you can apply to your smartphones, iPads and other media that is important to you and your business.
COST: $15 per person
