Parma Ridge branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library is Tied Up In Knots, Thursday, July 15, 2010 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The art of knot tying is an age-old skill. Knots are useful, and fun. Tying knots has numerous uses: from construction of bridges and houses, to determining days, weeks, and years. Of course sailors use ropes(lines) on board boats and ships. Bill Mc Nally of the Ohio Navla Militia will help you to try your hand at nautical and useful knots. You will also discover and learn the history of Ohio's Navy! All ages are welcome!
