Stearns Homestead Fall Festival
Fall Festival at Stearns Homestead 6975 Ridge Road.
Saturday October 16 and Sunday October 17 from noon to 4pm.
While you are here why not take a hay ride and you can see some of the back of the property. We will be having pony rides but only on Sunday from 1 to 3pm. (A fee of $5 per pony ride) (There is also a fee for the hay rides. They will be held weather permitting.)
Pumpkins will be for sale and you can get it painted while you are there. Heritage apples will be for sale along with fresh apple cider. The smell from the cabin should get your attention, there will be warm apple cider available by the cup. Along with homemade apple and pumpkin pies, apple fritters, plus a lot more homemade bakery.
If you are looking for some lunch Hot Sauce Williams will be there barbecuing up those yummy ribs. The farm will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs also.
Why not take a chance at one of the baskets that will be raffled off. This will be your last chance to buy a ticket for the American Girl Doll, she will be raffled off at the end of the Fall Festival. Some of the farm market vendors will be staying to sell their fresh produce.
There will be free crafts for the kids to make. The animals of course will be waiting for you to come and see them. Animal feed will be available for sale. Don’t forget to see our rescue dairy bull calves.
The museums will be open so you can tour them. The country store will also be open, to find that special gift for someone. Come and join us for a wonderful afternoon.
