Incarnate Word Academy
About Us
On September 11, 1935, Incarnate Word Academy opened its doors to 33 eager young students. The Sisters of the Incarnate Word founded the school to serve as a premier regional Catholic academy focused on inspiring academic excellence and teaching students to bring the Gospel message to life. Nationally recognized as a 2013 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Incarnate Word Academy serves a diverse group of students from 4 counties, 20 local communities, 25 countries, and over 50 places of worship. With a strong community of families, faculty, staff, and Sisters, IWA guides its students to engage the world with faith, compassion, courage, and commitment.
